TEHRAN – Amir Rastegari, managing director of the Defense Ministry’s Marine Industries Organization, said on Saturday that Iran observes international standards in manufacturing vessels and equipment.

Observing quality and technical indicators are important to build and provide after-sale services, Rastegari said in a meeting with the governor of Gilan province, IRNA reported.

“The capabilities and facilities of the Defense Ministry’s Marine Industries Organization are aimed at developing tourism projects,” he explained.

He also said the Marine Industries Organization has made great progress in production of floating structures.
